Customer Terms

These terms apply to homeowners and property managers ("Customers") who use the SureTrade platform to plan projects and connect with tradespeople.
1. The service we provide
SureTrade provides a project planning tool and matching service. When you describe your project, we use information including trade type, location, availability, and profile completeness to suggest tradespeople who may be a good fit.
We are an intermediary. We do not employ, contract, or supervise tradespeople. Any agreement you reach with a tradesperson is between you and them directly.
2. Project planning
Our AI-led project planner helps you scope your project by asking relevant questions. The suggestions and summaries it provides are for guidance only and should not be treated as professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about structural, electrical, gas, or plumbing work.
3. Matching
Matches are generated using our proprietary scoring algorithm. A higher match score indicates a better fit based on the data available to us. It does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of quality.
We do not guarantee that any tradesperson will be available, will accept your project, or will deliver satisfactory work.
4. Unlocking profiles
To view a tradesperson's full contact details, you must unlock their profile. This is a paid action. Once a profile is unlocked, the fee is non-refundable except in the limited circumstances set out in our Payments & Refund Policy.
5. Your responsibilities
As a Customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate project details
- Conduct your own due diligence before hiring any tradesperson, including checking qualifications, insurance, and references
- Communicate respectfully with tradespeople through the Platform
- Not use the Platform to obtain contact details for purposes unrelated to your project
6. No guarantee of outcomes
SureTrade does not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Platform. We are not responsible for the quality, timing, cost, or legality of any work carried out by tradespeople you connect with through the Platform.
7. Disputes with tradespeople
Any dispute between you and a tradesperson is a matter between the two of you. SureTrade is not a party to any contract you enter into with a tradesperson and accepts no liability for such disputes.
If you experience a serious issue with a tradesperson found through the Platform, please report it to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] so we can review their profile.
8. Content you submit
You retain ownership of any content you submit (project descriptions, reviews, photos). By submitting content, you grant SureTrade a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.
We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove content that breaches our policies or is otherwise inappropriate.
9. Account closure
You can close your account at any time by contacting us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention requirements.
